The Dubuque Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors announced that it is seeking candidates for the position of Executive Director.
A search committee chaired by Patti Lachecki, Board President, and Mantea Schmid, President-Elect, and assisted by members of the Board of Directors will be undertaking the process of identifying and selecting the next Executive Director. The orchestra is seeking a dynamic, professional Executive Director to lead the organization though the next phase of growth and artistic development.
Ideal candidates will have strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills with previous experience in non-profits and budget management, as well as an appreciation for classical music. The Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the orchestra supporting its mission, goals and policies.
The Dubuque Symphony Orchestra (DSO) is a non-union, fully professional orchestra located in Dubuque, Iowa. It serves the residents of Dubuque and the surrounding tri-state area which includes twelve counties in Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. Under Music Director William Intriligator, DMA, over fifty professional musicians perform a repertoire of classical, opera and pops concerts each year.
