The Dubuque Symphony Orchestra will host an open house at the University of Dubuque’s Heritage Center on Thursday, August 1 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm.
The DSO will open and close their 2013 – 2014 season at the new performing arts center. “The Sneak Peek is an opportunity for current and future symphony patrons to familiarize themselves with Heritage Center,” explained DSO executive director Deb Sandry. “Parking, the box office, restrooms, and their seat location—we want them to feel comfortable with all aspects of the concert going experience so they can relax and enjoy every minute of our first performance there in October.”
Season ticket holders, single ticket buyers, and anyone interested in attending symphony concerts is invited to the open house. Although there is no performance, the John and Alice Butler Hall will be open and DSO staff and volunteers will be available to answer questions.
Parking is available in any University of Dubuque parking lot after 5pm and on weekends. No permit is required. The lots closest to Heritage Center are located along Finley Street and Bennett Street.
Season tickets will be on sale that evening, and those who have already subscribed will receive their Heritage Center seat assignment.
