Annual Fund

A strong and healthy Annual Fund is critically important to the success of the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra. These unrestricted gifts go to work immediately by helping us meet our financial obligations on a daily basis. While the endowment can be viewed as the orchestra’s savings account, the Annual Fund serves as its checkbook.

The Annual Fund supports typical budget expenditures such as:

     ►  Musician salaries and fees

       Guest artist travel

       Orchestra rehearsals

       Theater rental fees

     ►  Sound and lighting equipment

     ►  Program notes

       Rental or purchase of music

     ►  Licensing fees

       Media advertising

       Office rent

     ►  Insurance

       Internet access

       Payroll services
